Refund policy

At Vaijayanthi Home Foods, we prepare and pack every product with utmost care, hygiene, and quality checks. As our products are homemade food items, we maintain strict policies to ensure safety, fairness, and transparency for all customers.

Please read the following policy carefully before placing your order.

📦 Order Processing & Shipping

  • All orders are prepared fresh after confirmation.

  • Order preparation time: 2 to 3 working days.

  • Shipping time: 4 to 8 working days depending on the delivery location.

  • Total delivery time may vary based on courier service and location.

  • Once dispatched, tracking details (if applicable) will be shared.

❌ Cancellation Policy

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once placed.

  • Since our products are freshly prepared and processed immediately after order confirmation, cancellation requests will not be accepted under any circumstances.

We request customers to carefully review their order before completing payment.

🔁 Return & Exchange Policy

Due to the perishable and consumable nature of our food products:

  • No returns or exchanges will be accepted except in the following cases:

    • Product received is damaged

    • Wrong product received (different from what was ordered)

To be eligible for return or exchange:

  1. The issue must be reported within 24 hours (same day) of delivery.

  2. A clear unboxing video must be recorded from the moment the package is opened.

  3. The video must clearly show:

    • The sealed package

    • The shipping label

    • The damaged or incorrect product

  4. The video and details must be shared via:

⚠️ Complaints raised after 24 hours of delivery or without proper unboxing video evidence will not be considered.

💰 Refund Policy

  • Refunds will be processed only if the claim is approved after verification.

  • Once approved, the refund will be issued within 7 working days.

  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

  • Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable unless the error is from our side.

📌 Important Notes

  • Minor variations in color, texture, or taste may occur due to the homemade and natural preparation process. These will not be considered defects.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Products should be stored as instructed after delivery to maintain freshness and quality.
